Named after a nonsense phrase that was regularly yelled at house parties during the band's formation, "Yit!" is a light hearted perspective on teenage parties and drinking, hinting towards darker themes of substance addiction, denial and existential apathy.
lyrics
I'll have another drink
I'm not that drunk I'm just content
It's just so hard to think
When no-one's making any sense
But we won't explain the way we lived
And we're not ungrateful for the things we had
Now we're all the same and we don't forgive
Are we that disgraceful or just young and lost?
Can someone tell me why
I'm at the bottom of the stairs
I guess I'll sleep here tonight
Good thing I'm far too drunk to care
